Game Overview
Heart Attack, a game created for the 2017 Global Game Jam, is a virtual reality first-person shooter in which you play as an antibody that must defend the human organs against waves of nanobots.
The theme for the 2017 Global Game Jam was "Waves", which was the reason for creating a wave defense game.

Design Process
Leading a Team
Creating this game was a fun, interesting, and somewhat stressful experience at times. This was the first time I had essentially assumed the role of a Lead Designer and Project Manager. A few of our team members were beginners and had no prior experience with Unity, so I felt that one of the hardest parts was trying to manage tasks for 6 other people and making sure everyone could play an impactful role, while also taking some time to teach some of the members how to use Unity and trying to keep on track to the 48 hour time constraint.
